Azerbaijan Grand Prix: Preview - Red Bull

Max Verstappen: "Monza was an incredible race for us and we made a good step forward with where we want to be with the setup of the car.

"The win has been a huge boost for everyone and I have been back at the factory this week to celebrate with the Team, which has been great, and have been on the sim to prepare for the next race. We are now back to the flyaways in Baku and it is always a bit more of a challenge on the street circuit. The combination of low-speed corners and the long main straight means you have to find a compromise in the setup, and it is about getting the right rear wing level as well. Hopefully we can take this positive form into this week and make sure we perform well in Qualifying too."

Yuki Tsunoda: "Monza was a disappointing race but I have come away looking at the positives, like how strong Quali was for us and knowing that the pace was there, had we not picked up damage. We are making progress week by week, Max showed why is the benchmark with that win and we know we are getting closer to him race by race, so it is reassuring knowing that the work we are doing is paying off in some ways. In Monza we were not able to show the true potential we had in the car in the end, which was frustrating but gives me confidence ahead of this weekend. The short runs felt better than the long in Italy, so we have some work to do there and it's something we've been assessing to make sure we get the car in the right window. Baku is a fun, challenging circuit, that can throw up a lot of surprises. You really have to be focussed and on it here to make the most of it and that's what I will be coming into the weekend aiming to do."
